Enterprise Software Developers
Enterprise software certification is a critical component to the overall AT&T enterprise strategy. The AT&T enterprise software testing and certification process is designed to ensure that your software runs over the AT&T networks. Certification through the AT&T program allows our sales force and corporate customers to feel confident that your solution performs as expected on the targeted devices.
If you are seeking certification for your enterprise business software application, the first step is becoming a devCentral member. If you are not already a member, register now. Standard level membership, which is required for certification, is free.
Why should I certify my solution?
Certification through the AT&T Enterprise Software Certification Program allows you to reap the rewards of your wireless development work. AT&T Certified developers are eligible for a number of benefits including:
- Use of the AT&T Certified Solution logo in your marketing and collateral
- Inclusion in the AT&T Certified Solutions Catalog
- Exposure of your solution to the AT&T sales force
- Qualification for Dealer status in the Business Alliance Partner Program
What solution types can I certify?
AT&T accepts all types of software for certification, including browser, client, and platform (i.e. middleware, server plus client). Software may target a broad range of AT&T certified devices including:
- Laptops and handhelds with PC Cards
- BlackBerry handhelds
- Internet-enabled phones
- Specialty Devices with approved OEM modules
Find out if the device you are targeting is certified by reviewing the certified device list on devCentral. If you are targeting a device that is not listed on the certified device list, please contact the manufacturer of the device regarding certification. Manufacturer device certification must be completed before you request AT&T certification.
How do I start the certification process?
The first step in the Certification process is activating your devCentral membership. If you are not already a member, register now. Standard level membership, which is required for certification, is free.
You can request Enterprise Software Certification through our online submission request form. The certification process generally takes between 10 to 15 days to complete.
Where can I find additional information about certification?
Detailed information about the AT&T certification process is available through the devCentral web site. To comply with AT&T testing requirements software solutions must:
- Be fully functional and stable
- Efficiently transfer data across the wireless network, not requiring unnecessary network resources or bandwidth
- Perform under normal and constrained network conditions
- Recover from interruptions
For membership consideration, complete an online Alliance Interest Application. A copy of the state certificate of resale (W-9) is required for any dealer selling AT&T's products and services.
