TALKS Rebate Program
To ensure that our customers with visual disabilities can take advantage of this important accessibility breakthrough, AT&T is offering a special introductory rebate offer on TALKS by AT&T software. The TALKS software enables screen-reading capability when installed on the Nokia 6620 model phone.
For a limited time, customers with qualifying visual disabilities who purchase the TALKS software can receive a rebate of either $100 or $199 depending on the length of their new service contact or extended service contract. Once the customer with the visual disability completes and returns the necessary application and certification forms, is approved for the rebate, and satisfies a 30-day waiting period after purchasing the software, the appropriate rebate will be applied to his/her wireless bill as a service credit.
The TALKS purchaser has 2 rebate options:
$199 Rebate Offer:
- Purchase the TALKS software (SKU 63552) for $199
- Complete and return the application and disability certification forms to the NCCD
- Agree to a two-year new service contract or service contract extension
- Receive a $199 rebate as a service credit on your wireless account after a 30-day post-sale waiting period
$100 Rebate Offer:
- Purchase the TALKS software (SKU 63552) for $199
- Complete and return the application and disability certification forms to the NCCD
- Agree to a one-year new service contract or service contract extension
- Receive a $100 rebate as a service credit on your wireless account after a 30-day post-sale waiting period

- The NCCD can place a credit card order for both the Nokia 6620* and the TALKS software (SKU 63552@ $199.00)
- Phone and software will be shipped to your desired location
- The NCCD can also provide installation assistance by phone

IMPORTANT PROGRAM DETAILS
- This rebate is only available to individuals with certified visual disabilities and is not available to groups, agencies, or organizations
- Resale/fraudulent use of this software will result in a reversal of the service credit
- Only one rebate is available per customer with visual disability. Rebate applicant must purchase the TALKS software and the Nokia 6620.
- The rebate will appear as a service credit against charges on the applicant's AT&T wireless bill and cannot be redeemed for cash even if service is later terminated
- There is a 30-day waiting period after purchasing the software before the service credit can be applied. Applicable charges apply for early contract termination
- This is an introductory offer which can be withdrawn at any time
- TALKS software is subject to product availability
- The NCCD will review all applications and disability certification and apply the appropriate service credit to the wireless account if applicable
INSTALLATION ASSISTANCE
- Telephone installation assistance is available by calling the NCCD at 866-241-6568. Hours of operation are 7 am–9 pm ET, Monday to Friday, and 9 am–6 pm ET on Saturday.
- An audio CD and a CD user manual are packaged with the software. Although detailed installation instructions are included, a sighted person may be necessary to assist with the installation process.
