Senior Vice President - Wireless Strategy
Steve McGaw is Senior Vice President – Wireless Strategy for AT&T, responsible for analyzing and developing longer-term strategic alternatives for AT&T’s wireless business. Opportunity areas include emerging products & services, network evolution, service & sales enablement and business development support.
Most recently, McGaw served as Senior Vice President - Mobility Supply Chain and Fleet Operations, AT&T Services, with responsibilities for all direct supply chain operations, including the procurement of over $18B of products and services annually, and the receipt, warehousing and distribution of these products for all wireless business units.
He also has served as senior vice president of Corporate Development and was instrumental in Cingular's valuation, analysis and negotiation of its acquisition of AT&T Wireless. Other projects include the purchase of numerous wireless properties, property swaps, network sharing joint ventures, and the purchase of wireless spectrum.
During his career, he has held a variety of positions at SBC and AT&T Bell Labs, including managing director of Corporate Development, vice president of Business Marketing, and sales, international and technology planning positions. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Northwestern University, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
