Goal :
Fix :LG Xenon (GR500) Keypad Layout Keypad Lock Activate/Deactivate Auto Screen Lock
From the standby screen, tap the menu icon.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Phone .
Tap Screen Lock .
Tap Screen Lock Time .
Tap the desired option.
Off
15 Seconds
30 Seconds
45 Seconds
01 Minute Activate/Deactivate Phone Lock
From the standby screen, tap the menu icon.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Phone .
Tap Security .
With Phone Lock highlighted, press OK .
Scroll to and tap the desired option.
When Power On
When SIM Card changed
Lock Phone Now
Off
Enter the device's current security code, then tap OK . Unlock the Device
The device will request the Security Code.
Enter the device's current security code, then tap OK . Activate/Deactivate SIM Lock Note: A SIM PIN is a four to eight digit code that is used to prevent unauthorized use of a SIM card.
From the standby screen, tap the menu icon.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Phone .
Tap Security .
Tap PIN Code Request , On or Off .
Enter the current PIN Code, then tap OK .
Note :obtain the PUK Code through myWireless Account. If you are unable to access your account information online or if your phone is requesting the PUK2 Code, please contact Customer Care .

The device's security code and the SIM lock code (PIN) are not the same. The security code is resident to the device and does not affect the SIM card.
