Answer Center

1. Identify the version of AT&T Communication Manager (ACM) installed.
2. Verify the device is compatible with the installed version.  If the device is not compatible, upgrade ACM:
1. Download the latest version of ACM.
2. Uninstall the currently installed version.
3. Install the newly downloaded version.

1. If neccessary, enable the USB Modem on the device.
2. Connect the device to the computer.
3. Open ACM.
4. When the status indicator reads "Ready to Connect", click the Connect button.
   
    
• NOTE: If connecting to an international network, the following popup will appear.  Click Connect to proceeed.
  
   
5. The Connect button will slide halfway during negotiation.
   
    
6. Upon successful connection, the Connect button will slide to the right and the data usage counters will be displayed.
   
    
• NOTE: Upon the first successful connection with ACM, the following balloon tip will appear.  If prompted by security software to allow these applications to access to the internet, approve the request.  Otherwise, configure a firewall exception manually if necessary. 
  
   
7. If a connection is unable to be established, troubleshoot accordingly:
• If ACM reads "Ready to Connect" but is unable to connect, troubleshoot software conflicts and issues.
• If it reads "No Wireless Device", troubleshoot device installation.
• If it reads "Searching for network", troubleshoot network availability.
• If it reads "Acquiring Data Service", troubleshoot network availability.
8. Test Internet connectivity.
9. If unable to view the webpage or issues with other internet applications are experienced, troubleshoot accordingly:
• Unable to browse the Internet.
• Unable to connect to a VPN.
• Unable to send or receive E-Mail.
10. If still experiencing issues, contact Customer Care.
