Fix: To simplify the process of copying dozens- or even hundreds - of contacts from one phone to another, AT&T provides an intuitive self-service tool  for transferring names and numbers from one phone to another in the simplest manner possible; either copying to a SIM card, or synchronizing a smartphone with your desktop computer.   How it works: Browse to http://www.wireless.att.com/support/copy-contacts.do on your PC or Mac. Select your old and new device using the dropdown menu and handset images. Select the method you prefer; copying to SIM, or copying to desktop computer. Two tabs with detailed instructions appear; a Copy From tab, and a Copy To tab. Follow the instructions on the first tab, then click on the second to import your contacts to your new phone. Voila! Your contacts have been transferred.
