AT&T makes it easy for government customers to access and provision our wireless voice/data services. The AT&T Premier Platform can be customized to meet the exact needs of your agency. This powerful tool lets you:
- Place orders online with auto-populated contract terms. There's no need to consult with an AT&T sales representative (although we're always here to help). Simply place your order, then AT&T handles provisioning, shipping, and billing, with one complete bill in your choice of online, paper, or CD format. Order accuracy increases, while errors and cycle time decreases.
- Take advantage of management and self-service tools. AT&T provides the personnel in charge of your wireless program with online tools for managing voice and data as a strategic asset. Corporate Responsibility Users (CRUs) have a cXML portal integrated with enterprise procurement systems (Ariba, Oracle, and in house). Individual Responsibility Users (IRUs) have a customizable purchasing site for acquiring AT&T equipment and service at a discount.
- Ensure compliance with your contract specifications. Because the portal is customized for you, only authorized services are available, only to authorized purchasers, and only at the authorized price.
- Simplify shopping. A preferred feature function and side by side comparisons make it easy to choose. Convenient packages include usage plans for one click ordering.
- Confirm network coverage. Before buying, users can see where service is available—including high-speed wireless broadband, being deployed in most major markets.
- Track your shipments. With online order confirmation, automated email, and access to real time shipping status.
- Get one convenient bill. Delivered online, your bill consolidates and details service for all wireless data devices. You also receive a simple one to two page printed bill with the total amount due.
- Get help quickly and easily. Your customized portal lets you address most first line technical issues in house, and we train your IT staff on how to use the portal. For other issues, you have access to priority service from the dedicated government team.
- Add flexibility with Enterprise-on-Demand. If you have frequent, large-scale needs for service, use Enterprise-on-Demand (EOD) to order inactive smart cards—Subscriber Identify Modules (SIMs)—and data modem cards in bulk. Then activate service through your online portal, giving users instant access as needed. Costs are reduced, because you incur no monthly service charges when devices are not being used. And, because everything is done online, you can manage your service when the time suits you.
