With average downlink speeds from 400 to 700 Kbps, BroadbandConnect lets smartphones operate at DSL-like speeds. Working from a laptop on the road is almost like working at your desktop computer in the office. In other markets, AT&T provides digital connectivity with the EDGE network, as well as basic text messaging via GPRS.
