AT&T now offers GPS turn-by-turn navigation for customers who travel in select countries outside of the United States for either business or pleasure. Available initially on several AT&T smartphones, AT&T Navigator Global Edition gives international travelers the comfort of knowing they will have reliable GPS directions and convenient access on their AT&T mobile device.

Just like an in-car navigation system or personal navigation device (PND), AT&T Navigator Global Edition includes voice and on-screen turn-by-turn directions as well as access to millions of local business listings.

To order AT&T Navigator Global Edition you can do one of the following:

  1. Call 1 (800) 331-0500 and ask to have the Global Edition feature code (ANGB) added to your account
  2. Call 611 from your AT&T wireless device and ask to have the Global Edition feature code (ANGB) added to your account
  3. Visit and AT&T owned retail store and ask to have the Global Edition feature code (ANGB) added to your account
  4. Business customers can visit their Premier web portal and add the Global Edition feature code (ANGB) to their account(s)

Additional Notes:

Existing users of AT&T Navigator or TeleNav GPS Navigator will need to upgrade to AT&T Navigator Global Edition version 1.6.

Purchase of an AT&T International Data Rate Plan is not required to use AT&T Navigator Global Edition, but is highly recommended to avoid data romaing rates, which vary from country to country.
