BlackBerry Professional Software
Small businesses have the same requirements for increased productivity through real-time voice, email, and PIM as large businesses. However, they don't often have an IT staff to install and manage a wireless solution. Now AT&T offers BlackBerry Professional Software, with the same powerful wireless push features for BlackBerry users—and the same enterprise grade security and device management features—as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server for large businesses. BlackBerry Professional Software introduces simplified screens, as well as wizards to help complete many server administration tasks. BlackBerry Professional Software can be installed on an existing email server to save on server hardware investments, and allows up to 30 users to benefit from real-time synchronization of email, calendar items, contacts, and more. Best of all, BlackBerry Professional Software grows as the business grows: it can be upgraded to the full BlackBerry Enterprise Server if more than 30 users want the productivity enhancements that can be brought about by the BlackBerry experience.

Go Global with the BlackBerry 8820 and Pearl 8120 with integrated Wi-Fi
The new BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and the BlackBerry 8820 both add Wi-Fi networking to the traditional GSM™/GPRS/EDGE data coverage. The built-in Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) support enables additional data coverage by utilizing existing wireless networks at work, in public hotspots, or at home. The Wi-Fi Setup Wizard makes it easy to connect to most Wi-Fi networks, and a manual setup option enables advanced Wi-Fi connection options. Customers can also benefit from the ultra-fast data rates provided by Wi-Fi connectivity. The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 supports 802.11b/g networks, while the BlackBerry 8820 supports 802.11a/b/g. Both the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and the BlackBerry 8820 offer the AT&T Push to Talk service, while the BlackBerry 8820's integrated GPS also supports AT&T Navigator.
AT&T Push to Talk boasts the largest coverage area in America. Push to Talk features on the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and the BlackBerry 8820 include "availability" icons, quick group calling, and the ability to easily convert a Push to Talk session to a regular wireless voice call. Customers can use their BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and/or BlackBerry 8820 with Push to Talk to contact individual colleagues or friends, or to set up groups for broader communication. The Push to Talk button on the left side of the device easily facilitates each call—simply press and hold to talk after the chirp and release when finished. In addition, AT&T service offers customers standard features such as call waiting and contact alerts, as well as text, picture, and voice messaging to anyone in their contact list*.
AT&T customers can also use the AT&T Navigator on the BlackBerry 8820 using the internal GPS capability. Users enjoy real-time, turn-by-turn audible directions while driving or walking and view colorful 3D moving maps. The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 supports TeleNav Maps; purchase a Bluetooth™ GPS receiver to enable AT&T Navigator as well.
Unlimited AT&T Push to Talk service is available for an additional monthly charge of $9.99 per device or $19.99 for Push to Talk Family. AT&T Navigator is available for an additional monthly charge of $5.99 for 10 trips or $9.99 for unlimited trips. Alternately, BlackBerry 8820 customers can choose TeleNav Maps—a free application that provides static maps and driving directions.
Moments, Music, Messaging, and More
Enjoy New Media & Features
AT&T Mobile Music™
Listen to or capture your favorite music via XM Radio Mobile™ or eMusic® on the BlackBerry Curve, BlackBerry Pearl, BlackBerry Pearl 8120, or BlackBerry 8820 while on the go, relaxing at home, or even at the gym. You can use a stereo-capable Bluetooth headset or plug in personal music player headphones—or with the BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Pearl 8120, use the included 3.5 mm stereo headset. With the BlackBerry Desktop Media Manager and the Media Player on and of these devices, you have the control and flexibility to organize music for your BlackBerry. And don't ever worry about missing a call when listening to music—your BlackBerry has the intelligence to pause music when you receive an incoming call.
Messaging
BlackBerry Internet Service email provides wireless “push” delivery and access up to 10 supported personal and work emails such as Yahoo!®, Gmail™. Earthlink®, and many other popular ISP and personal email providers.
You can also let your thumbs do the talking. With the versatile keyboard, sending and receiving text messages and MMS messages is easy and fast. If you want, download the Mobile IM Instant Messaging client from MEdia Net (under Mail & Messaging) and access Yahoo! IM, AOL IM, or MSN Instant Messenger all from the same client (note that text messaging rates apply to instant messages—consider adding a messaging plan for frequent instant messaging use).
Camera
Capturing moments is easy with the built-in 2 mega pixel camera of the BlackBerry Curve and the BlackBerry Pearl 8120, or the 1.3 mega pixel camera of the BlackBerry Pearl. You can share your moments via MMS, email, or store them to your BlackBerry Pearl/Pearl 8120, Curve, or 8820 with a MicroSD™ card (not included). AT&T recommends use of a MicroSD card for storing music, photos, videos, and documents.
GPS
Now you don't have to stop and ask for directions, because your BlackBerry Curve 8310 or BlackBerry 8820 is GPS-enabled, allowing you to check maps and get turn-by-turn audible directions quickly and conveniently with AT&T Navigator. AT&T even updates you with traffic information to route around congestion, all for an additional monthly feature subscription.
Push to Talk
Push to Talk (PTT) lets you view the availability of family, friends, or co-worker contacts before you push a single button to reach one, or many of them, at the same time via walkie-talkie-like communication. You can also use the availability feature to simply see when they are available to make a call. And it's easy with this PTT enabled device.
BlackBerry Connect
BlackBerry Connect (BBC) is the convenient email solution that works with non-BlackBerry devices like the new AT&T Tilt and the new MOTO Q Global, as well as other devices including the Nokia E62, Palm® Treo™ 680 and Treo™ 650, and the Nokia 9300. Users still get the convenience of BlackBerry's industry-preferred push technology, giving them the freedom and flexibility to manage their work day efficiently and effectively. BlackBerry Connect on all these devices works with BlackBerry Enterprise Servers (BES), and the AT&T Tilt and MOTO Q Global as well as the Nokia E62 also support BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS), enabling seamless and encrypted mobile connectivity in and out of the office. The Tilt features BlackBerry Connect 4.0, which supports over the air synchronization of calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes along with corporate and personal email.
