Step 1: Register for Xpress Mail Professional Edition

Step 1: Register for Xpress Mail Professional Edition

To register for Xpress Mail Professional Edition, follow these steps:

  1. Point your PC browser to http://xpressmailpe.wireless.att.com and click Register Now to create an account.
  2. Enter the required registration information, create a user name and password, and then click Save.

     

 

NOTE: Remember your user name and password. You will use them to register on your device and set up the redirector software.


Step 2: Download and Configure Xpress Mail 

To download and configure Xpress Mail, follow these steps:

  1. After you register an account, click Download to obtain the Professional Edition desktop redirector client. This is required for setup and access to work email.
  2. After you download the redirector software, run the executable file to begin the setup process.
  3. Click Next.
  4. When the installation is complete and AT&T Professional Edition Desktop Software is open, make sure that the Professional Edition selection box is checked, and then click Finish. The next steps will set up the preferences for the Xpress Mail redirector software.
  5. On the first login screen, enter the user name and password that you created when registering for the service earlier. Click Next.

  6. Select the appropriate email platform (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, IMAP, or POP3) from the drop down list, and then click Next.
  7. Enter your corporate email account information including your user name and password, and then click Next.

    Note: This screen may vary depending on which email platform is chosen.

  8. The desktop client will attempt to connect to Xpress Mail. Upon successful connection, a "-connected-" message from the Xpress Mail desktop software appears.

     


Step 3: Download the Xpress Mail application on your device, register, and view your Inbox

To begin the download of the Xpress Mail application on your device, follow these steps.

  1. On your device, click the "Get Xpress Mail" link on the Home screen. This launches the installer application.
  2. The next screens lead you through the application download process. To complete the process and download the Xpress Mail application onto your device, choose Install Now and then, on the following screen, select Download.

The "Get Xpress Mail" application is available on the following devices:

Samsung BlackJack™ II Samsung BlackJack™
MOTO Q™ 9 Global Pantech Duo™
AT&T 5700 AT&T 3125
Palm® Treo™ 750 Palm® Treo™ 680

Note: For former AT&T customers who have a compatible Xpress Mail device without the "Get Xpress Mail" application, we recommend that you use the SMS downlink or application download to your PC to load Xpress Mail onto your device.


Xpress Mail Registration for Access to your Inbox

To register on your device for email access, open the Xpress Mail application and complete the following steps:

  1. Enter in your wireless number.
  2. Choose Work, and then Professional.
  3. Type the user name and password that you created earlier.

After you complete these steps and generate the necessary encryption key, you will see your Inbox.
