- Make sure you have enough – check to make sure the Total Amount Due for your purchase is less than the balance on your card. If you don't have enough money on your gift card to purchase an item, your transaction will be processed but will not ship until you make arrangements with AT&T to cover the balance due. Once your transaction is complete, an email will be sent advising you of insufficient funds, along with the proper AT&T contact information to resolve the issue.
