Text Accessibility Plans for iPhone®

AT&T is pleased to offer Text Accessibility Plans (TAP)* for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus. These Text Accessibility Plans were developed for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, have a speech disability and/or hearing loss, and were designed with input from the community.

Customers interested in the TAP plans for iPhone must qualify by completing the Text Accessibility Plan (TAP) Application and Certification Form, (TAP_disability_certification_form.PDF, 115 KB). TAP plans are available for all versions of iPhone.


Customers interested in a TAP plan for iPhone will need to follow regular iPhone activation procedures. Once iPhone is activated, the customer may contact our National Center for Customers with Disabilities to change his or her plan to one of the TAP plans for iPhone.
