Discontinuation of TDMA/Analog Service
As of February 18th, 2008, AT&T has discontinued service of its TDMA/Analog network.*
Since 2006, AT&T (formerly Cingular Wireless) notified affected customers of plans to discontinue TDMA and Analog service in February 2008. (In some markets, TDMA service was discontinued earlier, and impacted customers in these markets were notified in advance.) To avoid service termination, customers must upgrade to GSM service. If you have not yet migrated to GSM service, please call 800-331-0500 or visit a Retail location in your area. (Business customers should call 866-746-9957).
Please know that AT&T is committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will stay with AT&T to take advantage of our robust GSM service offering.
* Please note that service on former Dobson TDMA and Analog networks will be terminated on March 1, 2008.
