To dial FROM the United States: dial 011 + Country Code + Dialed Number (This dialing string is required for all countries except those in the North American Numbering Plan). To dial to the countries in the North American Numbering Plan (such as Canada) just dial 1 + Country Code/Area Code + Dialed Number.
