Calling Abroad from the U.S.
North American / Caribbean Countries
Simply dial "1" plus the area code then the phone number for calls to Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other Caribbean countries. You do not need to call Customer Service before dialing these countries. Accrued charges will appear on your monthly bill.
All Other Countries
To place an international call to other countries from the U.S., dial ("+" or 011), then (country code), then (12 or 13 digit local number). To add international long distance service to your account, call 1-800-331-0500.
Tip:On most GSM devices, holding down the 0 key will cause the "+" sign to appear.
