International Services Terms and Conditions

Rates subject to change. Compatible phone/device required. Certain billing and credit restrictions apply. Rates apply to AT&T's wireless customers only. MEdia™ and Data: See MEdia Brochure for details on Text/Instant Messaging, Picture and Video Messaging and MEdia Net, or visit att.com/mediaterms.

International Long Distance: Calling to some countries may not be available. Rates shown are cost per minute. Must meet credit guidelines for International Long Distance Service. Many telecommunications companies outside the United States now impose additional fees to complete telephone calls to wireless devices, including wireless phones, pagers, personal computers and personal digital assistants. These additional fees also apply to ranges of telephone numbers for special services as designated by the foreign telephone administration (e.g., Premium Rated Services); such special services may or may not be wireless. In order to recover these additional fees, AT&T adds a wireless termination charge to all calls completed to wireless devices and special services in the affected countries. The charge amount varies by country and applies to all calls that are placed to a wireless device or special service. The customer will see only one per-minute price on their bill for a call where this charge applies. This single per-minute price is a combination of our international dialing rate and the wireless termination charge. This information may change from time to time. Be sure to check the codes and rates periodically for current information. If a customer calls an overseas landline number and the call is forwarded to a wireless number where the additional charge applies, then the customer will be billed the mobile terminating rate. Rates apply throughout the same footprint in which the customer's airtime package minutes apply.

International Roaming: Your plan may include the ability to make and/or receive calls while roaming internationally. Certain eligibility restrictions apply which may be based on service tenure, payment history and/or credit and AT&T, in its sole discretion, may block your ability to use your phone while roaming internationally until eligibility criteria are met. To block the ability to make and/or receive calls or use data functions while roaming internationally, please call 1-916-843-4685. See att.com/global for more information. All countries may not be available for roaming. All carriers within available countries may not be available on certain plans or packages. When outside the U.S., Puerto Rico and USVI, you will be charged normal international roaming airtime rates when incoming calls are routed to voicemail, even if no message is left. International roaming rates, which vary by country, apply for all calls placed or received while outside the U.S., Puerto Rico and USVI. Please consult att.com/global for a list of currently available countries and carriers. Availability, quality of coverage and services while roaming are not guaranteed. Billing may be delayed up to three billing cycles due to reporting between carriers. Taxes are additional. Receipt of Visual Voicemail messages when roaming internationally are charged at international data pay-per-use rates unless customer has an international iPhone® data plan, in which case receipt of iPhone® Visual Voicemail messages decrement Kilobytes included in the international plan.

Export Restrictions: Certain international destinations are subject to trade sanctions, embargoes and restrictions under U.S. law and import licensing under foreign laws. As of May 1, 2009, the U.S. had embargoes or export restrictions with five countries, including Syria and Sudan, which may require an export license for your wireless device. See http://www.treas.gov/offices/enforcement/ofac/programs/ and http://www.bis.doc.gov for specific information. You are solely responsible for complying with U.S. Export Control laws and regulations, and the import laws and regulations of foreign countries when traveling internationally with your device.

International Data: Wireless phone from AT&T required for activation of international data plans. For a complete list of discounted countries and or complete terms and conditions for all international data plans, go to att.com/dataconnectglobal. See International Data Solutions Brochure for details or visit att.com/mediaterms. International Data Plans may require a one-year service commitment. Many devices, including iPhone, transmit and receive data messages without user intervention and can generate unexpected charges when powered "on" outside the United States, Puerto Rico and USVI. AT&T may send "alerts" via SMS or email, to notify you of data usage. These are courtesy alerts. There is no guarantee you will get them. They are not a guarantee of a particular bill limit.

Cruise Ship Roaming: Cruise ship roaming rates apply for calls placed or data used while on the ship.
