How do I Browse & Purchase Answer Tones?

  1. Get Answer Tones: Add att.com/wirelessanswertones to your bookmarks to browse, purchase and manage your Answer Tones.
  2. Browse Answer Tones: From the Shop Answer Tones tab or click on a genre, hit the preview icon to listen to an Answer Tone. Search by Title, Artist or Key word to find an Answer Tone of your choice.
  3. Buy Answer Tones: Click the "buy" button to have the Answer Tone added to your library. Upon initial purchase, please accept the terms & conditions, and you will be automatically signed up for the Answer Tones service.
  4. Manage Answer Tones: After purchasing an Answer Tone, you will be able to assign the Answer Tone, schedule a time for callers to hear it, or continue shopping.

 

How do I View and Assign Answer Tones?

  1. View My Answer Tones Library: From the main menu, click the "Manage My Answer Tones" tab. You can view and preview the list of tones in your library, edit your default tone, and turn on/off your caller greeting.
  2. Assign a New Caller or New Group: Click on the "Callers and Groups" tab and you can assign tones to existing callers and groups; create new callers and groups, then assign tones to those new callers and groups.

How do I Schedule Answer Tones?

  1. Schedule an Answer Tone to play for a Caller: From the main menu, click on the "Manage My Answer Tones" tab.
  2. Select a tone to schedule: click on the tone from your "tone List" that you would like to update, click on "Edit Callers", then check the caller(s) that you would like to "edit".
  3. Decide a time for your Answer Tone to play: Decide if you want your Answer Tone to play Always, Days (7am-7pm central time), or Nights (7pm-7am central time).
  4. Select a time for your Answer Tone to play: using the drop down box to the right, choose Always, Days, or Nights. Once you have changed the schedule, please make sure that you click the "Save Changes" button.

 

How do I Assign a Standard Ring?

  1. From the main menu, click the "Manage My Answer Tones" tab.
  2. Click on "Callers and Groups" tab.
  3. Add the Standard Ring to an Existing Caller: click on the caller that you want to assign the standard ring.
    • Click on "Edit Profile"
    • Click on "Standard Ring"
    • Select a time for your Standard Ring to play: using the drop down box to the right, choose Always, Days, or Nights. Once you have changed the schedule, please make sure that you click the "Save Changes" button.
  4. Add the Standard Ring to a New Caller:
    • Click "Add New Caller"
    • Enter Name and Phone Number of the new caller.
    • Click on "Standard Ring"
    • Select a time for your Standard Ring to play: using the drop down box to the right, choose Always, Days, or Nights. Once you have changed the schedule, please make sure that you click the "Save Changes" button.
  5. Add the Standard Ring to an Existing Group: click on the caller that you want to assign the standard ring.
    • Click on "Edit Profile"
    • Click on "Standard Ring"

How do I Assign the Caller Greeting to a Tone?

  1. From the main menu, click on the "Manage My Answer Tones" tab
  2. On the "My Answer Tones" page, click "Greeting On" or "Greeting Off"
  3. Make sure you click the "Save Changes" button to save your change.

 

How do I Edit An Existing Caller and Group?

Edit An Existing Caller
  1. From the main menu, click the "Manage My Answer Tones" tab
  2. Click on "Callers and Groups" tab
  3. Click on the caller you want to edit
  4. Click "Edit Profile"
  5. Assign a tone or shuffles to play for this caller and schedule the tone to play Always, Day, or Night
  6. Make sure you click the "Save Changes" button

Edit An Existing Group
  1. From the main menu, click the "Manage My Answer Tones" tab
  2. Click on "Callers and Groups" tab
  3. Click on the group that you want to edit
  4. Click "Edit Profile"
  5. Assign callers and tones/shuffles to this group. Then schedule the tone to play Always, Days, or Nights.
  6. Make sure you click the "Save Changes" button

How do I Create A New Caller and Group?

Create A Caller
  1. From the main menu, click on the "Manage My Answer Tones" tab
  2. Click on the "Callers and Groups" tab
  3. Click "Add New Caller"
  4. Enter Name and Phone Number of the new caller

  4. Click on the "Edit" button, then assign callers, groups, and schedule Shuffle All to play Always, Days, or Nights
  5. Make sure you click the "Save Changes" button

How do I Create and Assign a Playlist to Callers and Groups?

  1. From the main menu, click on the "Manage My Answer Tones" tab
  2. Click on the "Shuffle" tab
  3. Click on the Playlist ("Playlist #1" or "Playlist #2") that you would like to edit
  4. Click the "Edit" button
  5. Assign tones to this playlist
  6. Assign the playlist as your default tone or assign callers/groups to hear this playlist, then schedule this playlist to play Always, Days, or Nights
  7. Make sure you click the "Save Changes" button

 

How Do I Set a Default Tone?

When purchasing a new tone:
  1. Purchase a tone
  2. Logon
  3. Click on "Assign This Tone Now"
  4. Click on "Set as Default Tone"
  5. Make sure that the piece of content that you would like to play as your default tone is "clicked"
  6. Click "Save Changes"

Changing a tone to play as your default tone:
  1. Click on "Manage My Answer Tones"
  2. Click on the "Edit" button under "Default Tone"
  3. Click on the piece of content that you would like to play as your default tone
  4. Click "Save Changes"
