Send a Text Message (SMS)

  1. From the standby screen, press Menu.

  2. Scroll to and select Messaging.

  3. Select Create Message.

  4. Select New Text Msg.

  5. Enter desired message and press Send To.

  6. Select New Number.

  7. Input the wireless number of the recipient, then press Ok.
    Note: When sending an SMS to an international destination, please remember to enter "+", "country code", then wireless number.

  8. Press Send.

Receive a Text Message (SMS)

"1 New Message" will be displayed. Press Read.


Check the Text Message (SMS) Inbox

  1. From the standby screen, press Menu.

  2. Scroll to and select Messaging.

  3. Scroll to and select Message Inbox.

  4. Scroll to and select desired message.

Delete a Text Message (SMS)

  1. While viewing a text message, press Menu.

  2. Select Delete.

Delete All Text Messages (SMS)

  1. From the standby screen, press Menu.

  2. Scroll to and select Messaging.

  3. Press Menu.

  4. Scroll to and select Cleanup Messages.

  5. Select All.

  6. Press Yes.

If unable to send or receive a text message (SMS), troubleshoot accordingly:

  1. Verify the device has at least two bars of signal strength.
  2. Turn the device off and on.
  3. Verify that the message Center number is programmed correctly.
  4. Attempt to send an SMS:
  5. Check for known issues and error messages for the device.
  6. If problems persist, please contact Customer Care.

NOTE:
Unsupported characters: The following characters are not supported with SMS: ~`^{}|[]\
