View Current Usage Summary for a Wireless Number

For each Wireless Number, you can use eBill to view voice and data usage associated with the current billing period (unbilled usage). The current usage for a particular wireless number will differ depending on the rate plan and features available.  As this usage is before billing, there will be no charges associated with the usage details presented in this view.  The current usage summary includes:

§         The rate plan and features associated with the subscriber for the current billing period

§         The usage types available based on the rate plan and features

§         The number of included minutes for each usage type

§         The number of used minutes for each usage type

§         The number of overage minutes (usage beyond what is included in the rate plan and features)

§         Estimated number of remaining minutes (before overage charges will occur)

§         Both voice and data usage

§         Both non-roaming and roaming usage group plan usage (for example, FamilyTalk, BusinessTalk, and Business Shared)

    At this time, if a wireless number is participating in a group plan, eBill cannot retrieve and present the current usage summary for the individual service. Only the overall current usage summary for the entire group is available.

The Current Usage Summary page resembles the Usage Summary page.  The key difference between the two is that Current Usage has not yet been assessed to an invoice, so the final charges and rating are not yet available.  Also, some features such as pooling have not yet been applied, so the amount of usage may not fully reflect the eventual charge to the wireless number.

Current Usage always displays the current billing period, even if the previous invoice is not yet available.  While your bill is being processed, there may be a short time when Current Usage is unavailable.  Additionally, there may be times when an invoice is not yet available in eBill, but the Current Usage already displays a new billing period.  In such cases, you cannot view your billed usage information for the recently closed billing period until  your invoices are done processing.  To receive notification when a new invoice with this usage information is available in eBill, sign up for a Bill Ready alert.     Current Usage is subject to delays in reporting usage.  Usage within the last 48 hours might not be included on this page.

View Subscriber Usage Summary is available for all user roles.

 

View Current Usage Summary for Company Administrator  user role without a Wireless Number or Billing Account in context

1.      From Menu Options, under Wireless, click Current Usage.  The Wireless Number Selection page appears.

2.      Under Select Wireless Number, click Select for the Billing Account that contains the wireless number you want. The Wireless Number Selection page appears.

3.      To select the wireless number you want, click View in the table. The Current Usage page appears for that Subscriber.

 

View Current Usage Summary for Billing Account Manager user role without a Wireless Number in context

1.       From Menu Options, under Wireless, click Current Usage. The Wireless Number Selection page appears.

2.      To select the wireless number you want, click Select in the table. The Current Usage page appears for that Subscriber.

 

View Current Usage Summary for Wireless User  role and When a Wireless Number is in context

1.      From Menu Options, under Wireless, click Current Usage. The Current Usage page appears for the Subscriber.
