Commercial Connectivity Service (CCS)

AT&T can help you build a better network

Extend Your Corporate Data Network

The fast pace of business requires enterprises to deploy flexible data applications that can be accessed from anywhere, at any time. AT&T's Commercial Connectivity Service (CCS) extends the reach of your corporate network to mobile devices and workers with security enhanced back-end connectivity between your Wide Area Network (WAN) solutions and the AT&T cellular network.

A Portfolio of Connectivity Options

With CCS, enterprises can leverage their existing data network infrastructure to implement cost-effective and redundant wireless data infrastructure solutions. These solutions are critical in business continuity and disaster recovery scenarios, and leverage the increased security requirements demanded by today's enterprise applications. Choose between an AT&T MPLS or frame relay solution, a network VPN solution, or utilize your existing frame relay network. Options can be utilized together to create a diverse and redundant connectivity solution.

MPLS

CCS provides customers with the ability to send and receive wireless data traffic from their existing AT&T Virtual Private Network (AVPN) or AT&T IP Enabled Frame Relay Network. Customers currently enjoying the MPLS benefits associated with these offers can have the AT&T cellular network appear as a remote location on their MPLS network.

Frame Relay

The bundled CCS frame relay offer provided on the AT&T network offers the simplicity of one point of contact for your entire wireless data solution*, with a single invoice for both CCS-Frame Relay and wireless data charges. Customer-provided frame relay allows you to leverage your existing alternative service provider frame relay network and connect to the AT&T cellular network.

CCS Network VPN (NVPN)

With a cost-effective NVPN connection, a network-to-network tunnel is established across the Internet using IPSec VPN security. If your enterprise is already utilizing a VPN, you can leverage your existing high-speed Internet connection and Internet VPN appliance to link your corporate network with the AT&T cellular network. By leveraging AES or 3DES Encryption and a Shared Key, sensitive corporate data is safeguarded as it travels across the Internet.

Security and Business Continuity Options

CCS provides private Access Point Names (APNs) that route, segment and isolate your traffic within the cellular network. Firewall options can be tailored to your application’s needs. The solution is supported by data centers with redundant devices and connection paths, backup power and gateway routers configured as redundant pairs. We offer a design that includes link redundancy to multiple data centers with automatic failover.

Flexible IP Addressing Options

CCS provides access to a comprehensive set of custom IP features, allowing you the ability to manage IP addressing configuration and capabilities to meet the needs of your application. Features include:

  • Public and private IP address support
  • Static and dynamic IP address support
  • Availability of specified IP address ranges
  • Advanced firewall and security capabilities
