Suspending a line of wireless service renders the phone inoperable for placing or receiving calls. Although inoperable, the mobile number is still kept in a state where you can reinstate it, but only for a limited time. Please ask your Representative for the rules pertaining to the particular situation (lost phone, stolen phone, military leave, and so on). Suspending service does not stop the billing, only canceling will do that. A reduced monthly service charge may be available for company-owned lines while suspended. Please ask the Representative what choices are available.
