Overview

AT&T uses APNs to provide its customers with specific data services based on the definition of the APN as defined within the provisioned data rate plan. Each APN enables access to the internet, however that access and associated billing may be different from APN to APN. Review the table below to get an understanding of what each APN is designed for and when it should be used. When troubleshooting a connection to the internet, be it on a handset, PDA or PC card, the APN plays a key role.

IMPORTANT:

  • The actual APN name as well as it's associated username and password are all case-sensitive.
  • Not sure what data plan you have? Find out now.
  • If unsure which APN to use, please contact Customer Care.
