Use a Credit Card or Check Card to Make a Payment on an AT&T Next or AT&T Equipment Installment Plan Account

To make a payment on an AT&T NextSM or AT&T Equipment Installment Plan account, use the Installment Payments page in eBill. Here you can pay off or pay to upgrade your AT&T Next account.

 

To make an online payment using a credit or check card, you must have a valid card supported by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.

When you enter payment information, all mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*). During the payment process, you’ll have the option to cancel at any point before you submit your payment. When you click Cancel, you’ll return to the eBill homepage but your payment details won’t be saved.

AT&T Next account payments using a credit or check card are available to the following user roles:

§         Company Administrator

§         Billing Account Manager

Small Business Non-contract users can make only AT&T Equipment Installment Plan account payments using a credit or check card.

Make an AT&T Next or AT&T Equipment Installment Plan payment using a credit or check card

1.     With a Billing Account selected, from Menu Options, under Pay Bill, click One Time Payment. The Installment Payments page appears.

2.     To select a different Billing Account, click Change Billing Account. See Select Billing Accounts.

3.     Next to Installment Plan Payments, click Pay to upgrade now or pay off installment plans. The Installment Payments page appears.

To select a different installment plan, click Edit in the Installment Payments section to return the Installment Plan Payments page.

 

4.     Select a checkbox under Pay To Upgrade Amount or Pay Off Amount, and then click Continue. The Installment Payments page appears.

5.     Select one of the following payment options under Amount:

        Pay Total Invoice Amount

        Pay Past Due Balance (if there is one)

        Other Amount

        Pay To Upgrade Or Pay Off Installment Plans Only

    If you have a past due balance, you won’t be eligible to pay to upgrade or pay off your AT&T Next account.

 

6.     To view your installment plan ID, the wireless number for this installment plan, and the payment amount, click the plus sign (+) next to Pay Off <number of> Devices in the Installment Payments section.

7.     In the Credit or Check Card Number field, enter your card number.

8.     In the Expiration Date field, select the expiration month and year for your card.

9.     Enter the CVV/CVN for your card. For help locating this number, click the quick help question mark icon.

10.  If you have one, enter a Customer Code (up to 17 characters). This is a feature available to some Business, Corporate, and Purchasing cardholders. The description you enter here will appear on the bill for your card if the issuing bank supports presentation of this detail.

Make sure to leave the Click here to also set up a recurring payment with this information checkbox empty. You can’t set up recurring payments for AT&T Next or AT&T Equipment Installment Plan accounts.

11.  At the bottom of the  Installment Payments page, click Continue. The Payment Verification page appears.

12.  Verify that all payment information is accurate and review the Terms and Conditions. To view the terms and conditions as a separate page, click View Printer Friendly Terms & Conditions”. Use this option to easily save or print the agreed upon terms and conditions for your records.

13.  If all the information presented is accurate and you accept the Terms and Conditions, click Submit at the bottom-right of the page. The Payment Confirmation page appears.

Your payment is recorded and will be processed. Save the payment confirmation number for future reference. As soon as your payment is processed and approved it appears on the Payment History page.

 

Some browsers save data that you enter. If you're concerned about other users of your computer obtaining this data, clear the browser cached data (for details, view the documentation for your browser). For security reasons, eBill masks your payment information.
