Manage IP Addresses

AT&T Voice DNA® uses IP addresses to determine the location status of an IP phone or IP desktop adapter. The location status is used to process 911 emergency calls.

Certain IP addresses are stored with the AT&T Voice DNA service when your location is created. As an AT&T Voice DNA Administrator, you can view these addresses, and add or delete additional IP addresses for the locations you manage. You can add single addresses or a range of addresses.

To view and edit a location's IP addresses

  1. Open the AT&T Voice DNA Administrator Dashboard. (For help with this step, see Log In.)
  2. In the Select Location field, enter the location. Then, in the Locations tile, click View Details for this Location. The Location Details page appears.
  3. Click the IP Address tab. The location's IP Addresses appear.

  1. To delete an IP address, click Delete next to the address.

Important: If you have a Virtual IP address (as part of the MID-HA service) in your IP Address table, do not delete it unless instructed to do so by AT&T Support.
  1. To add an IP address, click Add IP Address. The Add IP Address page appears.
  2. Select Single IP Address or Range of IP Addresses, enter the addresses in the IP Address boxes, and then click Save.
