Manage Location Profiles

 

Overview

 

If your organization has more than one physical location with your AT&T Voice DNA® service, each location has its own AT&T Voice DNA network access and phone number range. Depending on your service, each location may have a location adapter that you can use to connect non-IP phones and fax machines, and that supports the site survivability feature. Each location can also have a Location Administrator and a designated location contact.

 

You can view a list of all your organization's locations or search for a specific location. From the location list, you can access a location's profile details. As an AT&T Voice DNA Administrator, you can edit these location items:

  • Location caller ID number
  • Location operator phone number
  • Contact name
  • Contact phone number
  • Contact email address
  • Site survivability settings (if supported)
  • IP addresses
  • Account code settings
  • Call park settings
  • Custom dial patterns

If you want to add a new location or delete an existing location, use your normal ordering process.

 

View the Locations List

 

You can view a list of all company locations, as well as a specific the location's name, address, ID number, and voicemail access number.

 

To view a list of your organization's locations

  1. Open the AT&T Voice DNA® Administrator Dashboard. (For help with this step, see Log In.)
  2. In the Locations tile, click View List of all Locations. (To find a particular location, use the Search field.)

     

    A list of all your organization's locations appears. You'll see the location's name, location ID, administrator's name, and contact's name.

     

    Note: If the location has more than one administrator, Show Admins appears in the Administrator column. To view administrators' names, click Show Admins. To hide the names, click Hide Admins.

  1. To sort the list by a specific column, click the column name. By default, the list is sorted by the Location Name column.

 

View and Edit a Location Profile

 

You can edit a location's name in the location's Profile tab.

 

To view a location's profile

  1. Open the AT&T Voice DNA® Administrator Dashboard. (For help with this step, see Log In.)
  2. Do one of the following:
    • In the Locations tile, click View List of all Locations. The Locations page appears. In the location list, click the location's Location Name.
    • Set the location in the Select Location field. Then, in the Locations tile, click View Details for this Location.

To edit a location's name

  1. Open the Location Details page in editing mode by doing one of the following:
    • On the Location Details page, click the Profile tab, and then click Edit (if not already in editing mode).
    • In the location list, under Actions, click the Edit Location Details icon .

       

      The Profile tab changes to editing mode.
  2. Enter a new name for the location, and then click Save.
